Runaway Dog

4:30am and I get a call from Animal Control that they have our dog. Dicha. This is the 4th time we've been called about Dicha being out since she moved to her new home. The 2nd time in 24 hours. I've tried to switch the Home Again Recovery service account to list her new owners rather than us, but they can't do that until the new owners call them. I've tried twice to tell the new owners to call Home Again to change the account, but obviously they haven't done so yet. We'll be gone after July 1. If Dicha gets loose after that, they won't be able to let us know.

Bureaucratic frustrations aside, I worry that Dicha isn't being kept safe in her new home. She's an opportunistic little scamp and they'll have to keep her on a short leash, so to speak, or she'll take every opportunity she can to go for a run. I really want to feel confident that she's in a good home before we leave Tucson and leave her behind. I really need to feel confident.
