Let's Make a Deal (or, Don't Quit Your Day Job)

I made a deal with a customer this afternoon that we'd both write something today.  She's a writer; I used to be one.  She was encouraging me to get back into it.  Not one to renege on a deal, here's mine:

The old dog gets older

every day.

So do I.

But that's o.k.

With age comes wisdom,

so they say.

The dog must be a genius

by now.
