Call to Worship: Crow Up Close

Leader:  seeing a crow up close

         it startles with its 3rd dimension

         no longer a flat black shadow

ALL:     silhouette of a silhouette

Leader:  flapping across the flat sky

         it is round

         it has legs

ALL:     and feet

Leader:  with toes

ALL:     toenails

Leader:  it ruffles individual feathers

         it has eyes

ALL:     it sees us

Leader:  we are startled into 3 dimensions

         we are round

ALL:     if we are lucky we have legs

Leader:  with feet

         and toes

ALL:     toenails

 

Leader:  we wish we had feathers

ALL:     our eyes

         if we are very lucky
