Beep Beep 'N' Beep Beep Yeah

I'm immersing myself in 3 songs I need to learn for our June 2 "Beats 4 B.E.A.T" gig.  On repeat on my iTunes = "Bodhisattva" (Steely Dan), "Drive My Car" (Beatles), and "Carry On" (CSNY).

"Drive My Car" is already embedded in my memory banks from long ago.  My older brother was a big Beatles fan (weren't all boys in the '60s?), as well as a budding bass guitar player (didn't all boys want to play electric guitar or bass in the '60s?), so he taught me the "Beep Beep 'N' Beep Beep Yeah!" line and would play along with the record and I'd sing that line with him.  I was 4.  I still grin like a 4-year-old every time I get to sing "Beep Beep 'N' Beep Beep Yeah!"



The other 2 songs aren't in my repertoire.  Yet.  They will be by rehearsal time tonight!
