"Johnny, she's a GIRL!"

I'm trying to keep my fingernails a little longer to see if it prevents those excruciating cracks on my fingertips that I get all winter long.  But since I hate having my nails any longer than what makes most people think I chew them (which I never have—I think it's gross), I decided to make it fun and put some funky polish on.  My own attempts at painting them (bright yellow yesterday, then I added a glittery orange gloss today to tone down the yellow, which then messed up the base coat on two fingers) were pretty sorry, so I bought a set of these today and put them on.  So much easier than painting them!  And they look lots cooler, too.  

I may perhaps become addicted to funky peel-&-stick nail polish.  I want to try these

and they have holiday ones, too, so I could enhance my habit of dressing liturgically on Sundays…
