The Turks are very creative when it comes to resistance. And the old men in government just don't get today's technology. As soon as Prime Minister Erdogan declared a ban on Twitter and closed down Twitter access, workarounds appeared everywhere—as graffiti, even on newscasts—and new Twitter hashtags like "#turkeybannedtwitter" became trending topics.It's just like the best of Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals, one of my father's bibles back in the day and still relevant and a darn good read. I'd love to know what Alinsky could do with 21st century tools!
